2. Audio files have non constant length, they vary depending on the length of the number, but it wouldn&#039;t be much hard to make them constant length, maybe in a forth post...

A few remarks I want to make about your post:
1. What are your conclusions? If you have reached any.
2. How long are the audio files you use? Do all of them have the same length? If not, I suggest you to retry the experiment with files of the same length. This should give a clue to see if iPod uses song length as a randomizing principle.
3. It&#039;s a pitty that iPod can&#039;t play while it&#039;s plugged in. Because then you have a limited amount of time to take samples for your experiment. One way to get more samples would be to shorten &#039;songs&#039; length.
