Don’t be evil , does not imply to be good. So that leaves it in the limbo, waiting for judgment. The limbo is where the money is. So the main point is not to get baptized.
And remember, stay away from the limbus fatuorum.

Microsoft is evil, this has always been as obvious as we need oxygen to breathe. But, do they have any long term tactics ? Or they just try to patch fast and continue not seeing further than next months market status. In my mind I had a numb thought that led me to believe that Microsoft was not that bad, that was only a matter of bad luck, I thought that a so widely used product could not be so poorly done. But today I saw the light after reading this news, please follow the link.
So Microsoft has been making a flawy version of the operating system on purpose, I’m not saying that they’ve introduced bugs, but they’ve spent a lot more money on making things look nice, than actually making things work fine. For any successful product, first you need to penetrate into the market, the point is that everybody has an opinion of your product, even if it is a really bad one. Microsoft has already accomplished so by releasing to the masses a cheap, beautiful blue box with some CD’s inside. But a nice box only makes happy fifty percent of the costumers that Microsoft is seeking, they also want the other half, who is in that part of market ? The main part of this fifty percent is people who have the money but, don’t want to spend it on Microsoft, they don’t need it as much as willing to pay for it.
But Lucifer ( MS CEO ) had it’s own plan, file sharing ( not only on the Internet but also the traditional ways) , suddenly Microsoft products where everywhere. Everybody has once had an illegal copy of Windows, it has never been hard to copy, they made us think that they were stupid, the copy protection was so bad, just a long number and letter code, easy to copy and generate, a false feeling of trying to stop the ilegal copy. But it was all part of the plan, they’ve now accomplished stage one, they have penetrated into the market. Most people need a Windows to survive nowadays.
So what was next ? They wanted people to pay for the products so they introduced the security threats. Suddenly Windows users were invaded by worms, virus, hackers and only god knows what else. Nowadays a computer without Internet is not much worth ( just a personal point of view ). And now Microsoft is only going to give real updates on-line after some authentication, so that confirms everything, Microsoft is selling a crappy CD, you won’t get your real software until you connect to the Internet, give your personal data, they’ve made sure you paid and then you get some patches. That way Microsoft closes the circle.
In the next sections ,among other things, I will be talking on how make a bootloader so before that, the Environment has to be setup. In this post I make an outline of sections of this chapter.

This is a subsection of Project Introduction
The field of Operating Systems has already been widely covered and there are a great amount of really good books on this subject, but anyone willing to start a working kernel from scratch will have a hard time, some books just cover the theory, some other explain how things are implemented on Open Source Kernels, and not many explain how to write your own kernel but they tend not to give enough emphasis on the tools needed and not support all platforms. So in this project I will try to give instructions, as if it were an IKEA guide, on how to build the kernel, but also giving the design point of view.
The scope of the project is to be able to understand from the moment we power up the computer until the kernel has set up a working environment, with some peripherals configured and multitask. By covering step by step all this process the reader will be able to gain knowledge on BIOS functions, processor setup, bootloader design, memory issues and concurrency. To accomplish that, before implementing any part, the theory will be presented, then how to setup all the tools and finally the code.
The objective is to be able to follow the book under any Operating System such as GNU/Linux, MacOsX , and Windows. This is accomplished by using portable tools, all of them open source.
Today I’ve added the Google Zeitgeist to the left sidebar, I find it interesting to know which are the most common queries made at “chez” Google.
It’s a small php I’ve programed, it’s in beta stage, when I’ve tested it a little bit it will be posted it in the blog
Note: My spellchecker corrected the word Google, now I changed it back, hehe
